Research products

Terapeak provides up to 1 year of historic sales data and is current up to the most recent hour.

Terapeak Product research results have two tabs, Sold & Active.

• Sold results only display listings that have sold items. It's possible that the active listings you see on the eBay site have no completed sales yet.
• Active results only displays listings that are active, regardless of whether they have sales or not.

Terapeak search differs from the buyer-focused Search Results Page in that it will only display transaction that have been completed. Terapeak also shoows the exact sale price.

Terapeak Product Research is able to retrieve a maximum of 250,000 individual transactions per number of days included in your search.

If your search exceeds 250,000 items in a single day and you would like to retrieve all relevant transactions related to your search, we recommend adding additional search terms or filters to further refine the data set.

If you search for multiple words, for example "iPhone XS Max 64GB", you'll see listings with all of these keywords (iPhone + XS + Max + 64GB) in the title.

You can exclude results by adding "AND NOT" or "-" in front of a keyword. For example: "iPhone XS Max 64GB -cover" will exclude listings that have "cover" in the title.

If you add "OR" between keywords, for example: iPhone XS MAX AND (64GB OR 256GB), this will show iPhone XS MAX listings with either 64GB OR 256GB in the title.

After you enter the Product ID, select AND or OR from the drop-down beside the Product ID field. If you select "AND", Terapeak will retrieve listings that include both the title keywords and the Product ID entered.

If you select "OR", Terapeak will retrieve listings that match either your title keyword search, or the Product ID (some listings may not contain matching keywords, and some may not contain the Product ID.)

You can add filters to your search including: Price, Listing format, Product Condition and Buyer's/Seller's Country.

When you combine filters from each section, you'll get results that match the combined selections. For example, if you define the Price, Listing format and Product Condition the results will only include listings that represent the combination of all of these parameters.

If you include multiple filters from the same section, e.g. "listing condition", we will look for listings that match any of those criteria. For example, if you look for both "New" and "Used or Pre-owned" conditions, we will retrieve listings that are either "New" OR "Used or Pre-owned", showing results for both options..
